The objective of this to take up the responsibility of improving the Departments capacity to identify, design, monitor, supervise and maintain the Department portfolio of bridges.

The team is currently working on the underlisted projects in the country.

1. Dualization of 3rd Ring Road, Tamale ((Fuo Taha-Vittin Barrier Section). Detail Engineering Design Report and Drawings
2. Construction of Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange and Ancillary Works. Detailed Design Drawings of the Ground Level Area

iii. Sinohydro Master Project Support Agreement (Construction of Priority Infrastructure Projects) Construction/Rehabilitation of Selected Roads and Interchanges in Ghana – Phase 1, Lot 4 (PTC Interchange, Takoradi) – Detailed Design Drawings

1. Construction of flyover over the motorway from flowerpot
2. Road safety improvements by turn-key construction of pedestrian bridges at hazardous locations (Jason Bridges)

1. Project on capacity building for road and bridge management by JICA: Review and formulation of bridge Inspection and maintenance manuals on-going. Various workshops are being organized to this effect.
